Sergey Pogree founded Sacro with the vision of bringing artisan tile installations to the Vancouver mainland. He worked for over 20 years in the industry, gaining a majority of his experience running a similar small business in Winnipeg MB. There he worked closely alongside contractor agencies like Curtis Carpets, The Floor Show, and Imperial Flooring personally taking on many luxury show home projects through out the city. Being trusted in the industry, he was sent across all of Canada to provinces like Ontario, Saskatchewan, PEI, Nova Scotia, and British Columbia. It was here in Vancouver BC, that he fell in love with the west coast. There's really nothing quite like it. The non arctic weather conditions and sheer beauty of it all convinced him to move out west and set up shop. But another just as important reason making it viable to do so, was the demand for real craftsmanship.
Vancouver is too big for its own good. Finding somebody you can trust to renovate your bathroom, for example, is difficult.
